Compendium
As part of the NIMHE outcomes project it is planned to develop a compendium of outcomes tools suitable for use in Mental Health services. The aim of the compendium is to provide guidance about the available tools and their use in measuring outcomes in mental health services for all age groups. It will provide guidance on how services can implement outcome measures to improve the quality of care and establish good practice.
The compendium is not intended to be an exhaustive list, it will however highlight tools that have been proven useful in services. The Compendium will be a fluid document in that it will need to be updated at intervals as practice and evidence emerges. The compendium will be developed as a practical guide and in a user friendly format.
The compendium is in the very early stages of development. The work has been commissioned and an outcomes practice group has been established. This group will oversee and advise on the production of the compendium. If you would like to submit work or participate in any way please contact Margaret Oates Outcomes Project Manager.
