Mental Heath Outcomes Meeting the Challenge - National Event

This conference explored explore attitudes and approaches to the use of routine clinical outcome measures in mainstream mental health and social care services. The conference was hosted by Sheffield Care Trust in partnership with Camden and Islington Mental Health and Social Care Trust.

The conference was opened by Louis Appleby, National Director for Mental Health in England. There was also a broad range of speakers from a variety of settings. The conference focused on how to integrate outcome measures in routine practice from the point of view of both professionals and service users and to explore what benefits there are to be had.
