	Title: NHS Stop Smoking Services - Service and monitoring guidance 2009 Published: March 2009 Summary: Updated guidance on commissioning and delivery of evidence-based NHS Stop Smoking Services which includes sections on those with mental illness (pages 69 -73) and substance misuse (pages 81-82). It also highlights that health inequality experienced by people with mental illness will widen if investment in smoking cessation services for this group is not greater than for the general population.
